At approximately 09:52 this morning (May 13, 2012), Folsom Lake College lost connectivity to off-site services including D2L, People Soft, Email, and Internet resources. Connectivity was restored at 10:27.

There was an unexpected Exchange outage from 10:15AM to 10:50AM this morning. It only affected one of the 5 Exchange Mailbox servers so not everyone was affected. All should be operational now.

This morning a brief outage was experienced with the Los Rios network. The problem started approximately 9:45 and was corrected by 10:00. Unfortunately, an after-effect caused the district eMail server to experience a problem, which was resolved by 10:30. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your understanding.
There was a brief period of problems or unavailability with D2L this morning from about 7:10 am to 7:18. The problem was discovered and resolved quickly, but we apologize for the disruption it may have caused you.
District Internet services were disrupted on Saturday, Feb. 4th from 7:10am to 11:15am due routing failures within our Internet Service Providers network.
A planned firewall upgrade at FLC between 6am and 7am was unsuccessful, and was backed at 7:15am. Internet services to FLC resources were down during this period.
The web servers for eServices experienced problems from approximately 10:15 to 12:00 noon. We believe the problems are now resolved and we apologize for the difficulties you may have had.
We are aware of problems over the past hour with the eServices functions and are currently working to resolve them. We will provide another update as soon as new information is available.
The D2L problem that occurred this past Sunday (January 15th) occurred from 7:00 am to approximately 2:45 pm. It affected four of the 12 web servers in the pool, so approximately 1/3 of the users may have seen the problem. We have narrowed down the cause and are implementing measures to avoid the impact until a permanent correction is implemented in the D2L software. We apologize for any difficulties you may have experienced this weekend.
