DataCore SAN

As of 11:30am this morning the DataCore SAN nodes at FLC and DO have been shut down. I will be out this afternoon at both sites to complete the power down of the individual disk shelves and FC switches.

On Monday, July 9th and July 10th, a small subset of users were unable to get their Outlook client to connect with the Exchange servers. The problem is resolved.

Microsoft Exchange

From approximately 6a – 7a this morning during the FLC firewall upgrade, various problems were seen. It is operating normally now.

One NetApp filer (DO-FAS2) experienced the inability to contact either redundant switch. As a result all NFS and iSCSI clients lost connection to NAS storage for approximately 20-30 minutes. The situation started Friday July 20th about 11:47am and ended a

The initial problem was resolved by a failover to a standby NAS filer.Root_Cause: Not known at this time. Cases are open with both the switch vendor and SAN vendor.

PeopleSoft Upgrade Completed

The upgrade of the eServices and other PeopleSoft Student Services and Human Resource systems was completed on schedule. Services were returned as planned at 7:00 AM Monday July 16th. Please report any new issues to the Help Desk at help@losrios.edu
